Abstract

The Teodoro Maldonado Carbo Hospital is one of the main third-level Health Centers, of medical specialties of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, inaugurated in October 1970 and that throughout all these years has managed to contribute significantly to the restoration health of all patients who come to treat their illnesses. In addition, it is one of the main training centers for specialist professionals, which, in agreement with national and international academic centers, has been able to excel in therapeutic, diagnostic and medical scientific research advances.
